Whispering Woods Web Design released a new website in July 2014 for the Homestead Beach Hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey.
Homestead Beach Hotel
The Homestead Beach Hotel is a privately owned 90-room hotel in Ocean City, NJ. Each unit is individually owned, and many owners rent their units during the summer season. The hotel has an interesting history. It was built in 1928, renovated in 1977, and later converted to private residences. Today, each efficiency studio is privately owned and individually decorated.
Remember the guy who asked what the three most important things about real estate? Location, location, location! The Homestead has it in triplicate, because it’s close to the boardwalk and beach, shopping, and dining.
In fact, aside from its unique history, the best thing about the Homestead Hotel is its location. The hotel is located in the heart of Ocean City with a beach-block location. That means you can walk out the front door, and take a very short stroll to the boardwalk and beach without ever crossing the street. In fact, with the exception of the attached restaurant and a yogurt shop, there are no other buildings between the Homestead and the boardwalk. Many rooms have a view of the Ocean City boardwalk, Music Pier, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Or maybe you want to walk out the front door and turn right instead? In addition to walking past some of the best breakfast and lunch joints in Ocean City, you’ll soon find yourself strolling along Asbury Avenue – Ocean City’s quaint downtown shopping area. Asbury Avenue is also the host of a popular semi-annual block party with over 400 crafters, food vendors, music and more.
Of course, all that walking is going to make you hungry. Each unit in the Homestead features a complete kitchenette with stove top and refrigerator, as well as cooking and eating utensils. But there are plenty of dining options as well: the OC Surf Cafe, Varsity Inn, Sindia Restaurant, Manco and Manco’s Pizza, just to name a few.
New Homestead Beach Hotel Website
Whispering Woods redesigned the Homestead website in July 2014, adding image sliders, interactive photos galleries, contact forms, online reservations, and a private bulletin board just for owners. The site also features a responsive design that looks good on mobile devices, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to help customers find it, upgraded security to protect it from hackers, and Google Analytics to track web site usage. It’s really a sweet site, if I say so myself. Check it out, and then let us know what you think.
